Citizen Schools: Building regional capacity for maker career development, working with K-12 students and educators in the Central Valley
The goal of Citizen Schools is creating more sustainable pathways and growing the capacity for all K-12 students to pursue post-secondary education and career development through maker-centered learning.
The team includes Cordova High School in Folsom County, Sacramento County Office of Education, local community colleges, and Citizen School employees.
Design is an iterative process where we share work in progress. Over the course of two months, Citizen Schools practiced design thinking and created a prototype. See below for a video of this early prototype.
